As a consultant in evaluation and survey research, I feel that it is important to provide a collaborative environment for all stakeholders. Evaluations can take many forms; I enjoy working with organizations that want external evaluation, research, or report writing services as well those interested in building internal evaluation and research capacities.

Becky A. Melzer, MA of Evaluation Edge, LLC has more than 13 years experience in research and evaluation services. Her experience includes:

• Providing program evaluation, survey research, and report writing services to nonprofit and government clients.
• More than 5 years experience documenting the challenges and successes of women business owners and programs that serve them.
• Partnering with other evaluation professionals to provide data analysis for various public school initiatives.
• Designing and implementing short-term and longitudinal evaluations and using outcome measurements and participatory evaluation methods.
• Providing quantitative research and customer satisfaction survey services.
• Providing qualitative research services including focus groups, interviewing, and other types of qualitative inquiry.
• Using a variety of online survey tools and helping organizations select survey tools and provide technical support for survey development.
